Chapter 115:

Perhaps Cyril hadn't anticipated Belinda making such a request. After a brief silence, he picked up his phone and

stepped outside. “I'll talk it over with my client.”

Once Cyril left, Belinda reclined in her chair and casually scrolled through her phone.

News of Cathy was everywhere.

Under every piece of news about Cathy, Kristopher's nkept popping up.

“When will Kristopher marry Cathy?”

“They've been in love for three years. | can’t wait to see their wedding.”

“I heard Mr. Cox is planning to propose to Miss Miller. How exciting.”

In the past, reading such comments would have made Belinda uncomfortable, and she would have taken steps

to remove them.

But now...

She smiled as she went through and liked each comment.

She was genuinely curious about the scale of the upcoming proposal.

It should be less than a week left.

“Miss Nelson.”

Cyril returned from outside. “My client has accepted your proposal.” He handed her a pen as he spoke, signaling

her to sign. “Once you sign this, I'll head to the hospital to clarify a few things with Dr. Reid.”

After signing, Belinda returned the document to Cyril and said, “Here's to a successful collaboration.”

As she stepped out of the restaurant and prepared to hail a taxi home, her phone rang.

It was a call from the Cox family’s butler.

She was surprised and answered, “Stanley?”

“Mrs. Cox,”

On the other end, Stanley smiled and said, “Mr. Anthony Cox has insisted that | invite you to dinner! The shrimp

he received from the Arctic have arrived.”

“But...” Belinda paused, caught off guard.

“You haven't divorced Mr. Kristopher Cox, have you?”

The butler chuckled and continued, “And even if you had, you'd still be family in Mr. Anthony Cox's eyes. It's just

dinner. Can you really bear to turn him down?”

With Stanley putting it that way, Belinda had no reason to decline. She exhaled in resignation and replied, “Okay,

I’m on my way.”

After ending the call, she took a deep breath, hailed a taxi, and headed for the Cox residence.

On her way, her phone rang again. It was Darren.

“Belinda.”

Darren hesitated, then said, “Have you... Have you found your cat?”

At the mention of Fluffy, Belinda’s grip on her phone tightened, and she responded coldly, “Darren, letask

you something. You visited my apartment twice that day. Are you sure you didn’t see my cat?”

Sensing the chill in her voice, Darren paused before replying, “Belinda... Has someone been talking to you?”

Taking a deep breath, Belinda cut straight to the chase and said, “I've found Fluffy. He's with Kristopher.”

Upon hearing this, she could distinctly hear Darren inhale sharply over the phone.

After a moment, Darren said again, “Kristopher... Did he tell you anything?”

“Kristopher.”

Belinda turned to gaze out the window, watching the landscape blur by. “Fluffy means a lot to me. What made

you think you could hand him over to Kristopher and claim I didn’t want him anymore?”
