Chapter 186:
“Miss Nelson, seeing Mr. Cox with Miss Miller, do you feel any remorse? Will you let go of Mr. Cox and allow them
happiness, or will you shamelessly hold onto him and tear them apart?”
Each question that the reporters directed at Belinda seemed laced with hostility. While Cathy was met with a soft
tone, Belinda faced unrelenting harshness.
Unable to endure it any longer, Allen burst out, “Do you even know how to speak respectfully?”
It seemed that the reporters reserved their cruelest words exclusively for Belinda.
Until that moment, the reporters had largely ignored Allen. As soon as he intervened, they swiftly turned their
attention to him. “Sir, what is your relationship with Miss Nelson?”
“Why are you so protective of her? Are you her secret lover? Was the child she aborted yours?”
“Could you please clarify?”

abroad.”
As the focus shifted to Allen, Belinda’s gaze sharpened. “Are you sure you want to aim those cameras at him and
slander him?”
Her words took the reporters by surprise, rendering them momentarily speechless.
After a brief silence, one of them managed a strained smile. “Ah, so it's Mr. Wilde!”
“The child Miss Nelson was rumored to have was conceived over four months ago, which clearly exonerates Mr.
Wilde.”
“Our apologies for the confusion!”
With the issue seemingly deflected, the reporters turned their attention back to Belinda. “Miss Nelson, your
response, please!”

Belinda arched an eyebrow and glanced toward Kristopher and Cathy, who stood at a distance. Cathy clung to
Kristopher with a delicate touch, and he enveloped her in a protective embrace, his brow furrowed as he
murmured into her ear. They looked every bit the love-struck couple.
Noticing Belinda’s watchful gaze, Kristopher’s grip on Cathy slackened as he looked her way.
Belinda, however, avoided his gaze. She let out a disdainful snort and turned her back on them.
The reporters, relentless, pressed on with their unyielding questions.
With a sly smirk, Belinda pulled out her phone and started recording the scene before her.
The reporters, who were used to being the ones capturing moments, were visibly unsettled by the reversal.
One reporter, clearly annoyed, challenged her, “Miss Nelson, what are you doing?”
Belinda laughed softly. “My memory isn’t the best, and | can’t keep track of so many faces at once, so I'm
recording this. If any news outlet misreports what happens here today, I'll have my own evidence.” She handed
her phone to Allen, adding, “Mr. Wilde, would you mind helpingout here?”
Allen hastily grabbed the phone, resuming his recording of the reporters.
“About your questions, | have something to say,” Belinda began, her voice unwavering.
She stood slightly elevated, looking down at the cluster of reporters, even though she was shorter than most. “As
reporters, you should have an objective and just attitude, shouldn't you? Now, | strongly doubt your
professionalism. You're all quick to claim that | cheated and conceived with another man, as if you had seen it
with your own eyes. Where's your proof?”
