Chapter 195:
Clutching the divorce papers, Kristopher felt a hollow emptiness in his chest, as if something vital had vanished.
Outside the courthouse, as Belinda emerged, reporters flocked to her instantly.
“Miss Nelson, why didn’t Mr. Cox cout with you?” they asked eagerly.
“Miss Nelson, did you and Mr. Cox really get divorced? You didn’t go back on your word, did you?”
“Miss Nelson, could you reveal how much of the Cox Group's shares and assets you received in the settlement?”
“Miss Nelson, what are your plans now...”
Belinda offered a faint smile as she surveyed the reporters gathered before her. There were clearly more
journalists here than at Peace Hospital, yet the probing and sharp questions still cfrom those reporters close
to Cathy.
She chuckled and waved her divorce papers. “Kristopher and | are no longer married. Beyond that, no
comment.” Then, she walked briskly toward Allen’s car.
After a few steps, she paused as if a thought had struck her.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtTurning back to face the reporters, she announced, “From now on, | am no longer Mrs. Cox. Please, spare an
ordinary person likeyour gossip. And...”
Her gaze lightly swept over a few particularly zealous reporters. “As for the false rumors you've spread about me
online, expect a lawsuit.” Her eyes then found Cathy at the back of the crowd. With a pointed look, she added,
“And | will certainly not overlook the person who orchestrated your actions.”
Perhaps sensing Belinda’s gaze, Cathy turned and shot her a contemptuous look. It was as if she was pointing a
finger directly at Belinda’s nose. Unwilling to engage in a pointless argument, Belinda held Cathy’s gaze briefly
before turning away and walking towards Allen.
The typically domineering and arrogant young man from the Wilde family now appeared more like a sidekick to
Belinda. As she approached, he hastened to the passenger side and opened the door for her, gesturing for her to
enter.
Allen had to admit that Belinda’s clean and decisive break with Kristopher that day had earned his respect. For
the first time, he viewed her as both cool and dashing, a stark contrast to her petite and slender frame.

“I'm in a good mood today,” Belinda announced, her hands in her pockets as she approached Allen. “Do you
mind if I drive, Mr. Wilde?”
Allen paused for a moment, taken aback, then smiled at her proposal. “Why not?” he chuckled.
In full view of the assembled reporters and onlookers, Allen, known for his love of cars, handed his cherished
keys to Belinda and settled into the passenger seat of his sports car.
Belinda gracefully gathered her long hair into a ponytail with a hair tie, circled the car, and slid into the driver's
seat. As the crowd watched in amazement, the car roared to life, executed a flawless turn, and the red
Lamborghini sped off, shooting forward like an arrow.
“So cool...” murmured voices from the crowd.
Who would have guessed that a woman who had spent three years as Kristopher’s wife, portraying the role of a
dignified housewife in a wealthy family, could handle a car with such skill? Had the road outside the court not
been a limitation, she would have demonstrated the full capabilities of the Lamborghini!
