Chapter 201:
Madisyn’s face lit up with renewed determination. “From now on, you are no longer Mrs. Cox! You are my very
good friend, Belinda Nelson. We'll support each other from now on. After we retire, we'll travel the world together
and have new adventures. I'm already giddy just thinking about it!”
She reached for another glass of wine and began mapping out their future. Belinda sighed softly, inhaled
sharply, and looked away. “Why wait? Are you free in the coming days?”
“Let's go on a trip right now.”
Madisyn paused, cocked her head, and peered at Belinda before breaking into a wide grin. “Oh, there’s no rush! |
actually have a huge show coming up and need to train with the other models. I'll probably be busy for the next
two months or so. But I'll take a holiday right after. Let's have fun and let loose once I'm free!”
Belinda closed her eyes for a moment, then raised her head and smiled at her friend. “All right. I'll wait for you,
then.”
They continued catching up, laughing and crying over the most ridiculous stories. By half-past ten in the

“Why is she so drunk?” Ethel Thomas, Madisyn’s mother, called for the servants to assist her daughter upstairs.
She turned to Belinda with an apologetic expression. “She must have indulged herself because of your divorce,

Belinda chuckled. “Yes, you are. She’s very happy for me.”
“Belinda,” Ethel said, stepping forward to clasp her hand warmly, “congratulations on reclaiming your freedom.”
The Thomas family was close-knit and welcoming; Madisyn often confided in her mother, so it was no surprise
Ethel knew about Belinda’s troubles with the Cox family.
“Thank you, Mrs. Thomas,” Belinda replied, about to say more when Madisyn’s drunken voice called from the top
of the stairs. “Belinda... remember to return the car...”
Belinda turned toward the stairs and nodded. “Don’t worry about it and get srest!”
Earlier at the restaurant, when Madisyn was still somewhat sober, she had given Belinda the car owner's contact
details. After reassuring her inebriated friend, Belinda said goodbye to Ethel and left. As she walked back to the
car, she composed a message to its owner.

She received a reply within seconds—an address for a local bar called Mysterious Night.
Belinda’s brows furrowed as she stared at the location details. If her memory served her right, the bar that
Kristopher had booked for the night to celebrate their divorce was also called Mysterious Night...
But then, it made sense. Anyone driving such a rare red Ferrari was undoubtedly an important figure in Nawrin’s
high society. Tonight, Kristopher had booked the entire bar for a celebration, indicating the car's owner was
probably among the guests. Belinda felt a pang of reluctance at the thought. She didn’t want to bump into
anyone linked to Kristopher or let it be known she was at the bar celebrating his divorce.
Yet, after much hesitation, she eventually got into the car and headed towards Mysterious Night. When Madisyn
had borrowed the car earlier that day, its owner had stressed that it needed to be returned that evening.
Madisyn had borrowed this car specifically for Belinda. Despite her intoxicated state, Madisyn had consistently
reminded Belinda about the need to return the car, as it was a favor from her boss.
