Chapter 202:
Belinda couldn't allow Madisyn to break her promise because of her. Moreover, she had learned that many of
Nawrin’s high society would be at the bar that evening. She planned to drop off the car quickly and leave.
Hopefully, she wouldn't cross paths with anyone from Kristopher’s family. With that thought, Belinda parked the
red Ferrari outside Mysterious Night.
“I've arrived.”
After parking, Belinda stepped out and messaged the car owner. The response was swift. “Hold on. I'll be right
out.”
“Okay.”
Belinda had just tucked her phone away when she noticed three people exiting the bar. It was Maggie, Helen,
and Cathy. Belinda frowned and instinctively turned away, preferring to avoid a confrontation.

“Well, what do we have here?” Maggie's taunting voice rang out from behind her. “What a coincidence.”
Belinda’s back tensed. It was obvious that Maggie had recognized her from behind. If Belinda hadn't planned to
return the car, she would have left right away.
“Who is that?” Helen asked, eyeing the slim figure curiously.
“I don’t know her either,” Cathy responded with a kind smile. “Since Maggie recognizes her, let's go and say
hello.”
The three women approached Belinda. Belinda tightened her fists at her sides, then slowly relaxed them. After a
brief pause, she turned to face them and smiled.
“It really is a coincidence.”
Since there was no way around it, she calmly confronted them.

“My goodness! Belinda?” Helen's eyes widened in surprise. “What are you doing here?”
“Just here to spoil everyone's fun,” Maggie interjected sarcastically before Belinda could reply. “She must have
heard that Kristopher rented out Mysterious Night tonight for a party and decided to cand ruin it for us.”
She scrutinized Belinda with contempt. “I suggest you leave before Kristopher spots you. He's in a great mood
tonight, drinking more than usual. If you ruin his evening...”
Her eyes narrowed. “I won't let you off easy!”
Belinda crossed her arms and responded with a cold smile. “Your brother may have rented Mysterious Night, but
did he rent the street?”
She stepped closer, her gaze sharp and unaffected, meeting Maggie's. “Remember, I'm no longer a part of your
family.”
She lifted her chin defiantly. “So, your threats are meaningless tonow.”
“You!” Maggie's cheeks reddened with fury. She hadn't anticipated that Belinda would show no respect at all to
her in public. “Remember this, Belinda. You're no longer shielded by the Cox family’s name. Grandfather's no
longer here to cover for you! Without our family, what are you, Belinda? Squashing you would be as simple as
stepping on an ant!”
Belinda gave a cold chuckle at Maggie's arrogance. “I look forward to seeing you try, Miss Cox.”
