Chapter 305:
The man looked at the photo and immediately becagitated. “It’s her, it's her. She was the one with Fred last
night. | remember it clearly.”
“Oh my God...” Cathy was stunned, covering her mouth. “How could it be Miss Nelson?”
Tears welled up in her eyes as she turned to Kristopher. “Kristopher, | was just trying to help identify the
deceased and notify their families. | didn’t expect it would lead us to Miss Nelson. We...”
Cathy sniffed and continued, “Should we go to the funeral hto see Miss Nelson and inform her family while
we're there? Even if what she did is disgraceful, the dead deserve our respect first. We should let her family
know.”
Kristopher didn’t immediately respond to Cathy's question; instead, he leisurely finished his coffee. After setting
his empty cup down, he looked at the woman in front of him. “So, you've concluded that Belinda died last night
based solely on the word of this so-called university student?” The atmosphere suddenly grew tense.
Caught off guard by Kristopher’s question, Cathy was visibly startled and instinctively glanced at Jessa. It took
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇther a moment to compose herself. “I... | was just guessing... After all...” She gestured towards the man next to
Jessa. “He mentioned he recognized Miss Nelson, so...”
Kristopher casually raised his eyes to the man beside Jessa. “Are you a student at Nawrin University?”
His piercing gaze made the man shrink back slightly before he nodded. “Yes... | am a student at Nawrin
University...”
Kristopher’s fingers tapped lightly on the table. “Student ID.”
The man appeared ready for this. As soon as Kristopher requested it, he swiftly pulled out an ID card from his
pocket and set it on the table. “Here.”
The man reclining in his chair picked up the student ID and looked it over. “Major in Economics.”

He scoffed coldly as he set down the ID, fixing the man with a frosty stare. “You, an economics student, claim to
be classmates with Fred from the Physical Education Department?”
The young man’s smile stiffened. He stuttered, struggling to find a reply, then turned to Jessa and whispered,
“Jessa... What should | say...?” His nervousness made him speak louder than intended, and his voice carried
clearly to everyone nearby. Cathy's face turned pale instantly.
Jessa’s face contorted with anger as she sharply reprimanded the man. “Why are you asking me!? You've just
been exposed by Mr. Cox for pretending to be someone you're not, and | haven't even confronted you for lying to
me, yet you have the nerve to askwhat to say?” While speaking, Jessa kept a cautious eye on Kristopher’s
reactions from the corner of her eye.
“Enough.”
Kristopher had seen enough of the theatrics and wanted no more of it. He stood up elegantly, adjusting his cuffs.
“Cathy, the next tyour acting coach organizes an improvement course, take Jessa and this... actor. All of you
should attend straining; your acting skills need serious work.”
With that, he strode out of the cafe with determined steps. Cathy's face turned pale! It was the first tin four
years that Kristopher had spoken to her with such cold detachment, signaling his deep disappointment.
This realization made Cathy bite her lip hard. She turned to Jessa with a fierce look and muttered under her
breath, “Useless!” They hadn't even smoothed out the detail that Fred was from the Physical Education
Department! The actor she had hired was skinny and didn’t look the part of an athlete at all!
