Chapter 1406
She nodded, nestled in Jackson's arms as they boarded the plane. Onboard were a few of Jackson's most trusted
medical staff. As they saw Jackson carrying someone, they instinctively looked down, pulling out medical gear to
tend to Fiona. Having worked with Jackson for years, they'd never seen him this attentive to anyone. Now, with
Fiona in the picture, they were extra cautious, fearing they might upset this important figure.
"Ms. Fiona, could you please roll up your sleeve for a check?" one of them asked.
Fiona was unfazed by the routine check-up. Just as she was about to roll up her sleeve, she heard Jackson clear
his throat gently.
His sharp gaze swept over the male attendants nearby. "Out," he instructed.
They caught on quickly and exited the plane. Jackson's eyes lingered on the soft skin of Fiona's neck before he
turned away, swallowing hard.
Sensing his emotional shift, Fiona playfully nudged him. "Why won't you look at me?"
Jackson's voice was low and steady, yet if you listened closely, there was a hint of nervousness. "Is the check-up

"All finished."
Only then did Jackson look back at her. Noticing the undone button on her shirt, he frowned slightly and reached
over to fasten it for her, his expression relaxing afterward.
From a nearby box, he pulled out a soft fleece blanket and gently draped it over Fiona. Then he offered her a
thermos filled with honey water he had prepared earlier.
"Were you scared? Hm?" he asked, his tone unbelievably gentle, his gaze as tender as a feather landing softly on
her heart.
Fiona wasn't much for sweets, but she opened the thermos and took a sip. The sweetness was subtle and just
right. Her gaze towards Jackson turned sugary sweet too. Jackson met her eyes, his smile deepening. He sighed
softly, wiping sdust off her face with a gentle touch. "Little rascal," he teased.
A mischievous glint sparkled in
Fiona's eyes, but she said nothing
Jackson, noticing her unusual silence, pulled out a variety of her
favorite snacks from the box, offering them one by one.
Fiona beamed, munching happily, and teased, "Are you a magic robot? With a treasure chest?"
Jackson chuckled, raising an eyebrow. "Yep, a magic robot here just to take you home."
With that, he playfully pinched her
cheek. The plane landed smoothnet
on the helipad in front of Jackson's villa. As soon as they disembarked, Fiona spotted Nash waiting.
Nash had been there for ages, worried about Fiona. After giving her a quick once-over to ensure she was alright,
he sighed in relief, arms crossed and feigning indifference. His gaze even skipped over Fiona as he respectfully
greeted Jackson.
Jackson's attention was glued to Fiona, as if she might break. He gave Nash a nod in acknowledgment. Fiona
stood before Nash, not as tall but every bit as commanding. "Here to pickup, Nash?" she asked. Nash
scoffed, "In your dreams. I'm here for my uncle."
