Chapter 361 "Sorry! I didn't mean to," Angela said as she quickly helped Dexter up. Luckily, there weren't many people around, or his reputation could have been damaged.
"All of your energy has been spent confronting me." Dexter glared at her, feeling annoyed. However, he remembered the reason for his visit today—it was a farewell moment.
"I know I can be quite stubborn at times, but it's all in your best interest. I want what's best for you. If you appreciate it, great. If not, it doesn't matter. That's your choice." This was likely the first tin Dexter's life that he humbled himself before someone. He spoke awkwardly, avoiding eye contact and constantly looking away.
"Oh..." Angela immediately grasped what he meant. Seeing his cold, arrogant expression made her hesitant. She decided to let it go and not be upset with him anymore.

Soon, Angela and Zack arrived in Yedren, Otril.
While on the plane, Joel shared sinsights that prompted her to reflect profoundly.
He mentioned that Graham Group's last retail outlet in Yedren was in trouble, not just due to external pressures but also because of severe internal conflicts. Even in the absence of outside competitors, the outlet might struggle to endure much longer.
"Starting today, you'll serve as my secretary in public, understood?" Angela told Zack, who readily agreed. They checked into a hotel they had booked earlier.
Angela hadn't notified Bryan Parker, the general manager of Celestia Jewels, Graham Group's branch company in Yedren. Instead, shhad submitted her resdirectly through the Celestia Jewels'official website.
Just three days later, she had received an offer to join Celestia Jewels as a junior designer. The next day marked Angela's first day at work.
That evening, Zack sat by the floor-to-ceiling window, munching on a freshly peeled apple. His gaze was drawn to Angela, who was perplexedly trying different makeup looks in front of the mirror.
Zack expressed his disapproval, saying, "To be honest, your face is very recognizable. Unless you change your skin tone and the way you dress, others will still recognize you instantly." Angela had purposely edited her photo for her job application a lot so that others wouldn't recognize her at first glance.
"Besides, if you're eager to uncover the issues within Celestia Jewels, why not investigate directly? Or consider making spersonnel changes? There's no need to complicate matters unnecessarily," he added.

The next morning, she arrived at Celestia Jewels without any problems. To her surprise, the HR department failed to recognize her. They randomly assigned her a seat and paired her with a newly hired employee to help her get acquainted.
Angela was taken aback. She never anticipated being treated so om nonchalantly.
What surprised her even more was that she was given no tasks for the entire day. Instead, she spent her tgossiping with a coworker named Freya Dawson at her Rover workstation. Despite this, she didn't walk away empty-handed.
Freya was a well-known gossip expert in the design department, skilled at
gathering insider information and effortlessly attracting crowd eager to share the latest news. Initially, she didn't share much with Angela, but the latter's charm and conversational skills eventually won her over.
