Willow was used to her mother being loud and aggressive with her words.

help, | just made up an excuse so you would go since it was already at night and you might be reluctant to

"Keep lying!" Lara exposed her directly.
"Are you with Jasper again? Was it because you're worried that he'll find out about the children and abandon you
since he was coming to our home? That's why you sent us away. So you and Jasper can have sspace to
yourselves." Lara couldn't keep her composure anymore. She started barking at Willow out of exasperation.
Willow breathed a sigh of relief after hearing Lara revert to her old loud self.
Upon hearing Lara's words, Willow asked carefully, "Did Rachel tell you this?"
It was fortunate that Lara didn't know that Jasper was the children's father. She would've tried to make Jasper
pay if she knew.
"Don't you blher. She just cracked under pressure." Lara was defending Rachel.
Willow understood now. Rachel couldn't withstand Lara's interrogation so she told Lara a little bit about Willow
being with Jasper.
Willow said in a comforting tone, "Mom, things between Jasper and ! are really complicated, so I'll tell you when |
get back. Just know this, Jasper has great authority, so you and the children will suffer if he gets angry. You don't
want the cute little children to be locked up in a dark room and be deprived of food and water, do you?"
