investigate.

Inside, Ethan was busy cooking, his casual attire giving him an approachable, boy-next-door charm.

“Rough day?” he asked, glancing up from the stove and noticing her leaning against the doorway.

Lily nodded with a tired smile.

“Go freshen up,” he said warmly. “Dinner will be ready soon.”

Grateful, she smiled again and headed to the bedroom to change. After washing up, she returned in comfortable

clothes to find Ethan setting dishes on the dining table.

Afterward, Lily got up to clear the table and headed into the kitchen to do the dishes.

“Open it,” he urged.

tiny diamond-like embellishments. It was breathtaking-and unmistakable. She recognized it immediately as one

of her designs, one of the most exclusive pieces from her boutique’s collection.

Her eyes widened. “This... Why did you buy this?”

“Because tomorrow is a big day for you, and | wanted you to wear it,” he said, his expression both proud and

affectionate.

pressed a kiss to his lips.
