Chapter 224
"Think whatever you want," Gregory sneered at Yolanda.
"Either way, this deal is happening whether you like it or not! Otherwise, you can forget about keeping this
rundown clinic open!"
Before he could finish, one of the thugs behind him slammed his hand down on the counter.
"You better listen to Greg. Otherwise, we'll make sure you regret it!" he growled. "Don't think just because you're
a woman that | won't lay a hand on you! We'll trash this place and break your legs if that's what it takes!"
"Oh, so you guys are working with the underworld now?" Yolanda asked, eyeing the thugs with a cold smile.
She originally thought her life after being reborn would be boring, but now it seemed like every day offered a

"And what are you going to do about it?" Gregory smirked, looking down at her as if nothing could touch him.
"Hurry up and sign the contract. | don't have tto waste here," he said arrogantly while slamming a contract
on the counter.
"And don't forget the deposit-one million dollars, not a penny less!" Gregory looked at Yolanda smugly, confident
she'd sign the contract like a scared lamb.
Yolanda gave Gregory a calm glance, picked up the contract without hesitation, and tore it in half.
"The door's that way," she said, making it very clear they were no longer welcome.
"You dare tear up the contract?" Gregory's expression darkened, and his voice turned cold. "Do you have any
idea what happens when you makeangry?"
"I don't know, and I'm not interested," Yolanda replied calmly. "Don't get in the way of our work."
"Fine! Very well!" Gregory's eyes glinted like a snake's, locking onto Yolanda as he hissed each word. "If | don't
teach you a lesson, you won't know who you're messing with!"
With that, he shot a look at one of the thugs beside him. The guy got the message and quickly pulled out his
phone to make a call.
"Boss, I've got someone givingtrouble here. Bring the guys over and smash her clinic."
Gregory looked at Yolanda smugly. "Before they get here, you'd better apologize and sign the contract. Once
they show up, it'll be too late to change your mind."
Yolanda remained unfazed by Gregory's threats. "My staff is moving things. Don't block their way."

"Hmph! We'll see how long you keep that attitude!" Gregory glared at Yolanda angrily.
Five minutes later, a van pulled up in front of Willow Creek Clinic, and seven or eight tattooed thugs jumped out.
One of them, a blond guy, stepped out and immediately started shouting, "Is this the place?"
"If anyone gives us trouble, break their legs!" he said, swaggering toward the clinic.
Seeing the blond thug, Gregory's confidence soared, and he looked at Yolanda with even more contempt.
"You're done for! Not only will you lose this clinic today, but you'll be begging to sign that contract. Was it really
worth it to makeyour enemy over sstubborn pride?"
"What's your name?" The blond thug swaggered up to Yolanda and flicked his cigarette to the ground.
"Getting your legs broken byis a privilege," he sneered.
"Yolanda Henderson," she said calmly.
