Chapter 372
At his age, it's unusual for someone to be away from hfor two or three years, let alone Jess, who was even
older than him.
If something were to happen on the way, her family would probably not make it in
time.
"Mr. Carter, have you misunderstood something?" Yolanda smiled.
Simon's thoughts were normal; outsiders often viewed Jess as a stuffy old
woman.
However, she had no intention to explain further.

"Jess isn't as old as you think."
"Is that so..." Simon felt embarrassed as he pretended to look out the window.
"Well, when your master returns, you must tell me. I'll rush over from Creybia!"
At this, Yolanda exchanged a knowing smile with Gavin. She felt Simon's determination to meet his idol.
After lunch, Diana called Yolanda and insisted she chearly today but wouldn't tell her why.
"It seems | can't spend my twith you tonight," Yolanda joked with Gavin as she hung up the phone.
"Should | chwith you for dinner?" Gavin surprisingly considered it seriously.
"Forget it. | suspect she is up to no good," Yolanda answered, referring to Diana.
"But if you want to meet my family, how about | introduce you next tRowan comes over?" she added.
"Sounds good."
Gavin had long known that Yolanda's brothers were protective of her. Getting past them wouldn't be easy if he
wanted to date her.
However, it wasn't those reasons that had kept him from meeting her family. They simply hadn't found the time.
Besides that, knowing her brothers, Yolanda had initially chosen not to mention her relationship with Gavin to
avoid trouble.
All of them got busy later and didn't have the chance to meet.
"Then it's settled," Yolanda exclaimed.
Seeing Gavin's serious reaction made Yolanda unexpectedly excited.
"I'll head back now. See you at school on Monday."
Upon returning to the Henderson family home, Yolanda found Diana waiting for her on the living room couch.
There was an exquisite dress box on the dressing table.
"Change into this dress; I'm taking you to a party." Diana had already dressed up nicely and pushed the box
toward Yolanda.
"I bought this according to your size."
Yolanda's current figure made it quite challenging to find dresses that fit. Diana had run around three stores that
afternoon to find one suitable for her.
"| think you should lose sweight. If this continues, you'll need custom-made dresses,"
Diana was reluctant to take Yolanda out because she found her plus-sized body embarrassing.
However, since Harold had urged her to make it up to Yolanda, she had no choice but to visit several boutiques
to get her a dress.
Yolanda said nothing and took the dress upstairs. Ever since she successfully lost weight, she was still in
disguise, so outsiders still saw her as an overweight lady.
