Chapter 387
"Hurry up and begin. How do you want to compete?" Yolanda asked.
She wasn't worried that Miguel would sabotage the competition at all. When it cto poisoning, only Val, her
fourth master, was the expert. She had never even heard of Miguel's nbefore she was reborn.
"We'll both create a poison each, exchange it, and create its antidote. The tlimit will be an hour. How's that?"
Miguel thought about it and said, "However, it's not safe to let people who are present ingest the poison, and no
one would be willing to anyway. Let us both ingest the other's poison and then create an antidote for that. How's
that?"
"Ingest the poison?"
Miguel's words stunned all the patients who heard them. This was no longer just a bet that involved clinics and
200 million dollars; lives were involved now.
Such dangerous acts were not compliant with the rules as well.
However, they didn't say anything to stop them. Since this was a matter between two clinics, it had nothing to
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtdo with them.
The crowd merely stayed intending to watch how things went. They merely wanted to know how the two of them
would create antidotes for each other's poison.
Speople who liked to gossip had already whipped their phones out to film it all. They thought if someone
really died later, they would upload the video online immediately and it would be news that was sure to shake
the entire Havaria.
Speople also thought that Yolanda was too young and that she wouldn't step up to the challenge.
She wouldn't joke about her life if she had sform of common sense.
Also, Yolanda was so young. Even if she knew smedical skills, it would be impossible for her to be as
experienced as Miguel was.
"You don't have to worry about it being dangerous. We can set the rule now to only create slow-acting poison. It
cannot be a poison that endangers one's life immediately after ingesting.
"If one party isn't able to create a successful antidote within ten minutes, it will be considered defeat, and the
other party has to create the antidote immediately."
Miguel already had a plan formed in his heart. If Yolanda agreed to this, he would be able to poison her
somehow.
When the tcomes, all he had to do was tweak Yolanda's antidote a little so that the poison would kick in a
few weeks later. Then, there would not be any evidence to show that he was related to Yolanda's poisoning.
However, this competition was too dangerous. Miguel couldn't be completely sure if Yolanda would agree to it or
not.
If Yolanda didn't agree to it, he would have to temporarily forgo his desire to kill her with poison.
A clinic and a 200-million-dollar check would be enough for him to secure the rest
of his life. When the tcame, he would sell both clinics and bring the money out
of the country. Yolanda wouldn't be able to find him even if she wanted to take revenge later on.
"Even so, it's too dangerous."
Spatients started talking amongst themselves in the crowd.
"That young doctor wouldn't say yes now, would she?"
"If she's not stupid, she wouldn't agree to this."
What these people didn't expect was for Yolanda to agree immediately without even a slight hesitation. "Sure."
She thought about it and asked, "Is there a limitation to how the poison is resolved?"
"Of course not." Miguel huffed in disdain.
He was thinking about how there were only a few ways of resolving a poison. Yolanda could either create an
antidote or force the poison out with acupuncture.
But he was confident. No one else could resolve the poison he created other than him. Even if Yolanda used
acupuncture to force the poison out, she would not be able to undo the poison successfully.
"Let's compete and see who can undo the poison the quickest."
After Miguel finished speaking, he pointed to a room behind him and added, "This
is where Healing Haven stores their herbs and medicinal ingredients. You can use whatever you see there."
Then, Miguel walked into the room immediately.
"Hurry, get singredients, Ms. Henderson! Or would you liketo help you?" Dunstan was a little anxious
when he saw that Yolanda had no actions.
