Chapter 1544:
When she heard footsteps, she looked up.
“I'm sorry.” Felipe’s apology cquickly. His voice was low, eyes filled with regret. “I didn’t expect things to go
so badly.”
“Why did you make her apologize?” Farrah asked, tilting her head slightly. If it was because Jocelyn had made up
lies, it didn’t matter. Farrah would never accept an apology from her.
Felipe took a breath. “Do you remember when my parents cto visit you? That day, Bella overheard the
conversation. Later, rumors started spreading at Bella's school.”
Farrah stiffened. “What kind of rumors?”
Anything about Isabella put her on high alert.
Felipe rubbed his forehead, clearly uncomfortable. “They said Bella was...”
Farrah’s voice sharpened. “Was what, Felipe?”
“The scruel things my parents said to you that day.” Felipe looked away, ashamed.
The pieces clicked into place. It had been two years, but she hadn't forgotten the poison in those words. She
pressed her lips together. “And?”
“Jocelyn spread those rumors,” Felipe said clearly. “She admitted it.”
“How did you find out?” Farrah asked, her tone sharp.
She had always kept a close eye on school matters. Teachers had strict instructions to contact her if anything
happened. So why hadn't anyone called?

Farrah blinked, stunned. “Bella told you that?”
Felipe nodded. “Yes. She was calm and serious.”
Farrah considered going upstairs to ask Isabella, but decided against it. No point stirring up emotions that had
already settled.
“You don’t need to worry too much,” Felipe added quickly. “She said the teacher addressed the class. The rumors
didn’t spread far.”

Farrah’s expression softened, but her voice stayed cold. “What did you and Jocelyn talk about outside after |
walked in?”
Felipe didn’t hesitate. He recounted every word, every glance, leaving nothing out.
Farrah listened, arms crossed.
“Tell her husband everything,” she said with conviction. Jocelyn’s actions were intolerable.
Felipe nodded. “I will.”
Farrah arched a brow.
“You're not going to defend her?”
