Halsey took the three boxes and rushed back to Shaun's side. “Got them.”
Shaun looked down at her and gently pinched her cheek. “Why's your face so red?”
Halsey caught her reflection in one of the mirrors and nearly jumped. Her face was bright red, like a ripe tomato.
“Must be the heat,” she muttered. “Let's go check out.”
Shaun laughed. “What's the hurry?”
Halsey couldn’t believe he would ask that.
She wanted to claw that smirk off his face. He just loved teasing her!
At the checkout, she quickly placed the three boxes on the counter ‘We're ready.”
