Chapter 1202: The boy immediately stopped crying and looked up at her earnestly, asking, "Then what should I eat?" "Well..." Elissa paused to think. For a child, it was important to eat something healthy and nutritious. What did the supermarket have? "We have sandwiches here. Do you want some?" Locke nodded enthusiastically. "Yes!" "Alright then. Let's go!" Elissa turned to leave but felt a tug at the back of her shirt. She glanced over her shoulder and saw the little boy reaching up with both arms.
"Hug me, please!" Locke implored. The crate he'd been sitting on was too high. He couldn't get down on his own.

"Stuck up there, huh? I wonder how you even managed to climb it in the first place... Con. Let's go get sproper food for you." They left the warehouse and made their way to the vending machine outside.
"Which flavor do you want?" Elissa asked.
Locke pointed at one. "This one..." "Alright." Elissa warmed up the tuna salad sandwich he picked in the microwave and then set it on the table along with a bottle of milk. "Enjoy your meal." "Thanks," Locke mumbled, cheeks puffed as he devoured the sandwich. "Eat slowly. If you're still hungry, I'll get you more." Such a small child, but with such a big appetite.
With the meal sorted, a bigger problem loomed.
While Locke continued eating, Elissa stepped away to speak with the manager. She pointed toward the little boy. "Has anyone reported a missing child?" Since Locke had turned up in the supermarket warehouse, it was likely he'd cshopping with his parents and gotten separated. They were probably worried sick by now.
"A missing child?" The manager shook his head. "Haven't heard anything..." "Really?" Elissa blinked in surprise. That didn't make sense.

The manager walked off, and Elissa returned to Locke's side. She sat beside him and gently wiped his mouth and hands with a wet wipe. "Sweetie, what's your name?" Locke looked up and answered with a serious expression, "My nis Locke." He had the demeanor of a little grown-up. His tone was careful and precise.
"Locke," Elissa nodded. "So why are you here alone? Did you get lost? Where are your parents?"
Locke shook his head at once. "No, I didn't get lost. Dad's at 's at work, Odon't have a mom, and Great-grandma is at home." Elissa blinked, dumbfounded.
Did this little boy cto the supermarket by himself?
"Then..." Elissa pondered. "Do you remember your dad's phone number? ve Or your great-grandma's?"
Locke furrowed his brow, gave it sthought, but then shook his head "I don't remember." That made things more complicated.
