Chapter 181 Claire climbed into the car, settling into the backseat. The moment she took in the interior, she was taken aback. Everywhere she looked, there was pink-fluffy, vibrant pink. The front passenger seat was particularly eye- catching, adorned with a plush pink cover and a sign that read "Claire's Seat" in bold letters.

Hanging from the rearview mirror was a photo of her lounging on the couch in the Foster Manor's sunlit living room. In the photo, she appeared serene and content, a testament to the happiness she had found. Claire felt a wave of emotion as she took in the personal touches around the car. Her eyes welled up slightly as she gently ran her fingers over the soft, furry seat cover, feeling the warmth and care behind these gestures.

She recalled the first tshe sat in Ethan's car after being released. Back then, the car bore traces of Vanessa everywhere. She had been wearing a cheap T- shirt and jeans, her entire outfit worth less than Vanessa's handbag. She had felt so insignificant then, never daring to dream that one day she would be cherished and valued.

Sensing Claire's emotions, Liam smiled warmly. "These decorations were all arranged by Mrs. Foster herself. Do you like it, Ms. Linwood?" Claire was surprised but quickly understood. Mr. Foster might be kind to her, but a pink-themed car interior was definitely not his style. Yet, the fact that he allowed his grandmother to do this and even reserved a seat for her was quite remarkable.

"I love it," she replied softly, her hands subconsciously smoothing her elegant evening gown. It was the first tshe wore something so exquisite, so luxurious. She no longer felt out of place in expensive surroundings. The contrast between how the Foster family cherished her and the indifference of the Linwood family was striking. But she had left the Linwood family behind, and their opinions no longer mattered.

Liam glanced at Andie, who stood by the villa entrance. "Andie, hurry up and get in." Andie pouted, reluctant. "I don't want to watch Sean being lovey-dovey with someone else." Liam rolled his eyes but remained encouraging. "You're Ms. Linwood's personal stylist today. What if her makeup needs a touch-up? The boss had you brought over from Northcrest City because he trusts only you." At the mention of Sean's trust, Andie's demeanor brightened. He struck a pose, acting aloof. "Since it's for Sean, I'll graciously agree." With a tic flair, he sashayed to the car, opening the passenger door. But before he could sit, the driver interjected.

"Apologies, but this seat is reserved for Ms. Linwood. Kindly take a seat in the back." Had Claire not been wearing a gown, she would have been seated in her designated spot upfront.

Andie paused, shooting the driver a glare before reluctantly closing the door and joining Claire in the back, still huffing in annoyance.

As the car rolled forward, a subtle tension lingered in the air. Andiem Yes.

sulked, occasionally casting sidelong glances at Claire. She could only respond with an awkward smile. Unable to resist, Liam spoke up, "Andie, quit pouting. Your main task is to keep Ms. Linwood's makeup flawless. It's an important job." Andie crossed his arms, smirking. "Of course, withon the job, she'll look stunning all night long!"

Claire found his antics amusing, the awkwardness melting away. "Msn Andie, I really appreciate your help today. I don't know what I'd do without you."

Hearing this, Andie's previously stern expression softened, a small smile playing on his lips Yet he maintained e his aloof facade, "Well, you've got good taste, recognizing my talent. Just follow my lead, and you'll outshine everyone at the party."
