Chapter 253 Nathan threw his head back and burst into wild, manic laughter. His voice echoed around the hospital room- sharp, grating, utterly unrestrained.
"You pathetic woman! Do you really think I'd have let you live this long if I didn't need those last shares of yours?" He grinned wide, his lips stretched in a hideous smirk, the corners of his mouth curling like a venomous snake coiling in the dark.
"Sharing a bed with you disgusts me. Every single night. And don't even getstarted on sex-you just lie there like a corpse, no reaction at all. You think you compare to Sophia? You're not even worthy to polish her shoes." He shook his head, almost gloating, as if he were showing off sfilthy secret.
"I'll tell you the truth: I never loved you. If your family didn't have money, I wouldn't have given you a second glance. Frankly, you were dumb enough to letwalk away with Jones Group. Once I'm out of here, I'll take the woman I actually love and my kids and move abroad. What could you possibly do to stop me? Ha! Ha! Ha!" Nathan doubled over, laughing so hard his whole body shook, the wounds on his face twisting and splitting like ugly centipedes slithering across his skin.

In that moment, it was as if sdark, furious force had possessed her. The searing pain in her legs and eyes faded into nothing.
Her chest heaved with ragged, heavy breaths, loud and raw in the sterile room.
Clenching her fists so tightly the veins bulged on the backs of her hands, Adah slowly pushed herself upright. Nathan, still convulsing with laughter, caught sight of her sudden movement. His laughter died in his throat, smile freezing on his twisted face.
His eyes went wide, disbelief etched across every inch of his features.
Adah's rage contorted her face, transforming her usual gentle features into something monstrous.
Her lips twisted, teeth grinding audibly, the muscles in her face twitching and jerking until she looked like svengeful spirit risen from hell.
"You bastard. I'll kill you." Her voice was hoarse, shredded by fury, and a moment later she hurled herself at Nathan.
Fueled by pure rage, her strength was terrifying. She wrenched the knife from Nathan's hand with iron grip and, without a second's hesitation, plunged it down.
Nathan screamed, a sound raw and animal, as blood soaked the sheets beneath him.

"You love cheating, don't you? Go on, cheat again! Cheat all you want! Ha! Ha! Ha!" Her laughter rang out, wild and unhinged, as she tore Nathan's manhood to shreds.
Blood drenched the bed, Nathan's body writhing in agony, the metallic scent thick in the air, seeping through the cracks around the door and into the hallway.
Outside, Claire stood watching the carnage unfold, her heart as calm as still water. Not a flicker of pity crossed her face.
The years of coldness and cruelty she'd endured in this house had eroded her feelings for her family, leaving nothing but emptiness.
Looking at the two of them now, she felt only a cold satisfaction. One blinded in one eye, the other maimed beyond recognition she hadn't expected things to end this gruesomely, but she couldn't deny the deep sense of relief it gave her. This was justice-evil brought low by its own kind. How could monsters not suffer for their evil?
She thought this quietly, a long-suppressed tension finally m releasing. For the first tin ages, a light, almost joyful smile tugged at her lips-the thrill of vengeance sweet on her tongue.
Suddenly, the sharp staccato of footsteps echoed down the hallm Sophia appeared at the far end, hurrying toward the room with a team of doctors and nurses in tow.
