Chapter 320 Whether they were eating or waiting in line for food, everyone in the dining hall turned at the sound of that piercing scream.
A girl stood there with noodles dumped on her head, broth and sauce dripping down her hair and face, leaving her utterly disheveled, her expression a mix of shock and outrage.
Mandy set down her bowl and turned on her heel, ready to leave.
"Mandy, you stop right there!" the drenched girl's friend snapped, her voice sharp with anger.
Mandy acted as if she hadn't heard a thing, striding away without a backward glance.
The girl, ignored in front of the whole cafeteria, flushed with humiliation.
She shouted, "What's wrong, Mandy, are you deaf? You humiliate my best friend and think you can just walk away?" With that, she lunged forward, hand outstretched, aiming for Mandy's hair.
But before she could touch her, Mandy spun around as if she had eyes in the back of her head. In one swift motion, she seized the girl's wrist, twisted, and sent her crashing to the floor with a brutal over-the-shoulder throw.

"Had enough of playing the victim?" Mandy's voice was ice-cold, sending a chill through everyone nearby.
The girl gasped for breath, winded from the fall and Mandy's heel pinning her down. Her face turned crimson as she struggled for air.
Mandy looked down at her, eyes sharp and detached, like saloof deity gazing with disdain at a bothersinsect. The girl trembled under her gaze.
"I-I'm sorry..." she sobbed, pleading for mercy.
Mandy curled her lip into a mocking smile. "Pathetic. Maybe you like getting put in your place." The crowd stared in stunned silence, eyes wide with fear.
No one could have imagined that Mandy-the model student at Cresthaven Institute of Technology, always so well-behaved and quiet-could be so ruthless. Someone finally found their voice and stepped forward. "That's enough, Mandy! Everyone saw what you did. If the dean hears about this, you could be expelled!" Mandy scoffed. "Go ahead. Report me." With that, she turned to leave.
But the girl who'd spoken up wasn't done yet. "You assaulted people and act like you're above it all. You don't even deserve to call yourself human." At those words, Mandy stopped and slowly turned around, taking measured steps toward her.
The girl blanched, shrinking back in fear. "W-what are you doing?" Without a word, Mandy slapped her hard across the face, the sound echoing through the cafeteria. Then, without hesitation, she grabbed a handful of leftover food from a nearby table and smeared it across the girl's face.
"That's what arrogance looks like. Understand?" she spat.
The girl, now covered in rice and sauce, her makeup ruined and tears streaming down her face, could only sob in helpless humiliation.
A chorus of voices rose up, condemning Mandy's actions.
But Mandy didn't care. She ignored them all.
Lately, ever since what happened with Claire, her mood had been foul. Anyone who crossed her path becan easy target for her anger.
If Claire was the embodiment of innocence and kindness, Mandy was her polar opposite-dangerous and vicious.
Mandy stormed out of the cafeteria. As she passed three girls from her dorm, they all flashed her nervous, ingratiating smiles.
Mandy didn't even acknowledge them and strode right past.

The three girls let out a collective sigh of relief. They exchanged m glances each/seeing fear reflected in the others' eyes. They, more than anyone, knew what Mandy was really like.
In the past, Mandy had at least tried to keep up appearances outside the dorm. Now, she didn't even bother.

Those two who'd tried to pick a fight with Mandy? They'd only brought this on themselves.
At that moment, Mandy pushed open the dean's office door.
She walked in without so much as a knock and dropped herself onto the sofa.
"I just beat up three girls in the cafeteria. They'll probably comem running to you soon. I trust you know how to handle it?" Mandy said, her tone flat and emotionless. The dean's head throbbed as soon as he saw her.
If she didn't have such damning evidence over him, he would have thrown her out long ago.
But now, he didn't dare. All he could do was plaster on a strained smile.
"Don't worry, Mandy. I'll take care of it."
