Chapter 390 Inside the small apartment, Sophia and Garnett Brown were chatting idly when a sudden knock at the door made them both freeze. They exchanged uneasy glances.

Garnett's voice carried a hint of caution as he called out, "Who is it?" Mandy, standing outside, lowered her voice and put on a convincing act. "Your delivery's here." At that, the tension melted away. Both Sophia and Garnett let out a sigh of relief.

"Oh, that was quick! I didn't expect our dinner to arrive so soon," Sophia remarked.

"I'll get it," Garnett said as he stood up.

He made his way to the door and pulled it open, only to see a petite deliverywoman standing in the dimly lit hallway. She wore a mask that obscured most of her face, but it was clear from her build that she was female.

Garnett relaxed completely. "Hand it over, please." Mandy lifted her gaze, her eyes glinting with icy malice. "I finally found you." Before Garnett could react, there was a sickening thud-Mandy's knife plunged straight into his abdomen.

"You" Garnett's eyes widened in disbelief, staring at Mandy as the pain hit him.

"What about me?" Mandy hissed, yanking the mask from her face to reveal a rage-twisted expression, more demon than human.

She wrenched the knife free, then struck again and again, her blade sinking mercilessly into Garnett's stomach. "You loved hurting Claire so much," Mandy spat, her voice trembling with hatred. "Let's see how you like it. Does it feel good?" With a savage kick, Mandy sent Garnett sprawling back into the apartment, then slammed the door shut and locked it behind her.

Sophia, hearing the commotion, rushed out of the bedroom. The scene before her made her blood run cold. Mandy stood in the middle of the room, her clothes soaked in blood, a dripping knife clutched tightly in her hand. Garnett lay in a spreading pool of red, his fate uncertain.

Sophia screamed. Instinctively, she spun to flee back into the bedroom, but Mandy moved with terrifying speed. She lunged forward, seized Sophia by the hair, and, with brutal force, flung her to the floor.

"You filthy murderers!" Mandy snarled, icy hatred in her voice as she brandished the bloodstained blade. "You killed Claire. Tonight, you pay for it." Sophia, wild with terror, crawled desperately across the floor, her hair a tangled mess over her face. She sobbed and pleaded, her voice shaking. "Please-please, let us go! We know we were wrong, please, I beg you!" "Wrong?" Mandy crouched down, pressing the knife against Sophia's throat. "Too late for that." In one swift, merciless motion, she slashed-severing the tendons in Sophia's arms and legs.

Sophia's scream was raw and guttural, echoing off the apartment walls. Her body convulsed in agony, eyes wide with terror and despair.

She knew-deep down-there was no escaping this.

Mandy looked down at the unconscious Garnett and the broken, pleading Sophia. There was no satisfaction in her eyes, only a cold, undiminished hatred.

"Don't worry, I'm not going to kill you right away. That would be far too easy." "I want you both to experience real pain-to understand what it means to be torn apart piece by piece." Her voice was eerily calm, as if she were discussing the weather instead of their impending torture.

Garnett began to stir, consciousness flickering back. When he saw Mandy looming over him, his eyes widened E in horror. "What are you going to do?" he whimpered, panic rising in his throat.

Mandy's lips curled into a cruel smile. "You're so heartless-I want to see if your heart is as black as your soul." "No, please—please, have mercy," Garnett begged, his voice barely a whisper.

Sophia was sobbing uncontrollably, outin her words tumbling out in frantion repentance "We're sorry! We really are! Please, just let us go!" But Mandy was unmoved. In her eyes, there was only vengeance.

She raised the knife, its blade catching the faint light and glinting coldly Then, slowly and deliberately, she pressed it to Garnett's stomach and began to cut. fo Garnett's scream was piercing, filling the room with agony as he watched, helpless, while Mandy's blade sliced through his flesh.
